Will President Ahmadi Nejad of Iran put his political ambitions before the People's lives and the country's national interests?

This week, the French Foreign Minister, Mr Kouchner has repeated the last option against Iran, War, the option that the president Bush has been saying all along.

His comment was in line with the reports came up weeks ago that the Pentagon (the US Defence Department) is drawing plans to attack not only the Nuclear Sites but an additional 2000 more targets inside Iran. Although his comment and the reports are nothing new, but the question is, does a time come when these talks become a reality? This is a question for 'Tehran' to answer.

I, however, try to answer the question to the best of my ability. Before that, we should be able to answer another question, why did the US come to the Middle East in the first place? In my opinion, there were many reasons including: the US-West economic recession in the late 1990's, China's economic growth at almost 10% or more a year, control over the energy resources in the region, security of Israel and the un-friendly and undemocratic regimes in the Middle East, Islamic Republic of Iran and its move toward the Nuclear power at the top.

Only the very first of these reasons has been met sofar, the US's economy has been in an acceptable 2.5%-4% growth in the last 6 years. But there is no good prospect for the rest yet.

All of the rest are the strategic interests of the United State and its allies like France in the Western world. Now, the question is that, is there any regime in the Middle East powerful enough to jeopardise these interests? My answer is, NOT AT ALL! This answer is also an answer to the earlier above question, does a time come when these talks become a reality?

Mr Ahmadi Nejad, what is your answer?
